New FTC Rules in Advertising

A couple of weeks ago, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) came out with new rules on advertising for online business owners. I didn't say too much about it, at the time, although I did give you a couple of links to check it out for yourselves.

There was a reason for that.

Some of these new rules are goofier than I first thought. At least one seems impossible to comply with. They also require that you ALWAYS use an Electronic Signature Script to prove that YOU complied with their demands.

Not being a lawyer, I didn't want to try to interpret them for you and get it wrong. God forbid I ever be wrong.
